"Extraction" is an action thriller film that was released on April 24, 2020. The movie was directed by Sam Hargrave and produced by the Russo brothers, Joe and Anthony Russo, known for their work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The screenplay was written by Joe Russo, based on the graphic novel "Ciudad" by Ande Parks.

The film stars Chris Hemsworth in the lead role as Tyler Rake, a black-market mercenary and former Australian Special Air Service Regiment soldier. The story revolves around Tyler Rake's mission to rescue Ovi Mahajan, Jr., the young son of an imprisoned Indian drug lord. Ovi is kidnapped by a rival drug lord, and Tyler is hired to extract him from the dangerous criminal underworld of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The action-packed movie takes the audience on a thrilling ride as Tyler Rake battles through heavily armed mercenaries and faces various obstacles in his attempt to rescue Ovi. The film showcases intense combat sequences, gunfights, car chases, and hand-to-hand combat, highlighting Chris Hemsworth's physicality and stunt work.
